A new outdoor leisure and lake complex opened at the edge of the town in summer 2017. Quillan also benefits from the microclimate of the upper Aude Valley, having the clear blue skies of the Mediterranean but being shielded from the debilitating Tramontane winds by the Corbière mountains.

This would be an excellent opportunity for somebody running or wishing to start a construction, repair or distribution business in the area whilst having the possibility of additional income from the conversion of the 1st floor into rental accommodation.
